Control long-part risk

Long blanks amplify material variation and handling error. Review blank flatness, grain direction, flange straightness and support throughout the complete bending cycle.

Door designs should be grouped by width, thickness and edge construction so that tooling and program reuse are evaluated realistically.

Select capacity with margin

The maximum nominal width should not be the only selection rule. Confirm the usable clamping area, flange height, return depth and special-tool clearance on the longest production part.
